Preparing for Self Employment Workshops

posted 25 Feb 2013, 05:10 by pardoarmando@aol.com
Over twenty people attended the workshop on self employment organised by ACBBA on 21 February 2013, as part of the services funded by Trust for London. Nick Howe, from NatWest, talked about finance options for start up businesses and what the bank look for in applications for finance from new and existing businesses. Elsa Caleb, from ACBBA, followed Nick's presentation with a discussion on the importance of taking an outward looking approach to planning and running you business, including gaining a good understanding of customers and competitors to give shape to your service offer.

Participants found the session highly stimulating and informative (see pictures below). They also took home a CD with information on different business topics as well as planning tools.

The workshop is delivered again on 21 March at our office, 200a Pentonville Road, N1 9JP. To book a place write to armandopardo@communitybasedbusiness.co.uk
